Accommodation deals for Mallorca / Puerto Pollensa this Autumn & Winter.

If you are planning an activity holiday this autumn or winter, Mallorca is the ideal choice for climbing, scrambling, canyoning etc. And to get away from the dreary British weather.

Undoubtedly the best place to stay is the popular village of Puerto Pollensa situated on the north east tip of the island. The town has many good bars, restaurantes and supermarkets. Cycling and watersports are also available if you get tired of the mountains.

                 A view of the town and the blue waters of the bay of Pollensa
For climbers there are several crags and bouldering sites within walking distance or 5 mins by car. For trekking or scrambling a short drive past the old town of Pollensa leads to some of the best trails and peaks in the "Tramuntana" mountains. And don't forget the "must do" Caval Bernat ridge scramble is right on the doorstep.

We have on offer several excellent town houses, villas and apartments for rental this autumn with prices to suit everyones budget.

Sea Kayaking Now Available In Puerto Pollensa.

If you want something to do that doesn't involve mountains, give your legs a rest and try Sea Kayaking.

Our old friend Mark Manning, the local sea kayak instructor, is usually found in the Yacht club where he is in charge of training the local  youth teams and the kayaking section in general. However this year from mid March onwards you will be able to join him everyday  at his new site on the beach in Puerto Pollensa.

He will happily organise group training sessions and excursions as well as individual instruction up to whatever level you require.

Unlike sailing,  sea kayaking is not so weather dependant. Flat calm seas will mean you can make good time and explore the rocky inlets and coves of the bay. But  the bigger the waves the more exciting and challenging it can be tackling the surf.

So if you want to give your legs a rest from the mountains, go and see Mark, on the beach next to sail & Surf on the Puerto Pollensa to Alcudia coast road. If you have any questions you can contact him by;

Happy paddling.
