Clients
must be aware that caving, and all mountain sports have inherent dangers for which we
cannot be held responsible.
We work on a maximum group size of 4 clients per guide. Due to the fragility of the
underground environment and the need for conservation, we regret that we will not under
any circumstances work with larger groups, or visit the same cave on consecutive days.
We will provide all helmets, lighting and any specific safety equipment, all of which
meets or exceeds current EC safety standards.
Clients must come equipped with suitable clothing and footwear. We recommend loose fitting
jeans type trousers, long sleeved sweatshirt type top and lightweight walking boots with
ankle support.
Caving is a potentially hazardous activity that will involve getting dirty, being in the
dark in confined spaces and some crawling on natural rock surfaces. Up to an hours walk
over mountainous terrain may be required to and from the cave entrance and this may
require that clients be outside in adverse conditions.
Below ground there are no toilets, any waste material must not be allowed to contaminate
the cave environment.
Smoking is not allowed. |
